STAGE SHADOWS, INC. PERFORMS MYSTERIES BY AWARD-WINNING AUTHORS
JOHN LUTZ AND ROBERT LOUIS STEVENSON


Continuing its series of live audio theatre recordings at the Museum of
Television and Radio, on April 27, 1999 and
broadcast on WFUV 90.7 FM on September 18, 1999 Stage Shadows,
Radio Like You've Never Seen It!™ premiered two mysteries written by celebrated
author JOHN LUTZ, winner of both the Edgar and The Shamus Awards,
The Very Best and A Rare Bird.
Adapted especially for Stage Shadows by RON ATKINS
from Lutz's short stories.

The April 27th production also featured a live
interview with the author, John Lutz, hosted by New York literary agent, Donald Maass.

Completing the evening was ROBERT LOUIS STEVENSON's classic, The Suicide Club.

Recorded with live sound effects and live original music, the
one hour production started at 7 PM and the public was welcomed to be part
of the studio audience.

ROSEMARY HOPKINS directed The Very Best, a story about Professionals in a
kill-or-be-killed world.

ESMÉE directed A Rare Bird, in which a bird
watcher sees more than he wants, and gets more than he asks for.

The Suicide Club, directed by ROBERT KILBRIDGE, tells the tale of a very
special game where Death wins all.

Live sound environments are designed and performed by JOHN SNYDER. ADRIAN
COSENTINI, producer of WFUV-FM's Saturday evening program "Classic Radio",
is chief audio engineer and sound designer. Origial music by JOHN BOWEN.
LORD MARGESSON hosts the program.
